Webflow App
We're developing the Liquify Webflow app to streamline your workflow. This app will grant access to all Liquify objects and functions, offering helpful suggestions built-in. Moreover, it will include debugging features for easier error detection. In the future, our goal is to enable users to seamlessly publish their projects directly to Shopify from within the Webflow app, simplifying the entire process.
If else (li-if:wrapper)
We're introducing the li-if:wrapper to facilitate the creation of intricate if statements. Within this wrapper, users can craft complex statements tailored to their specific requirements. For a more comprehensive understanding and detailed guidance on leveraging this feature, please refer to our documentation.
Liquid Tags positioning (:inside)
We're introducing the :inside modifier to offer greater control over Shopify tags' positions. This modifier allows users to decide whether to render the liquid tag within or outside the attached element. This feature provides flexibility in determining the placement of Shopify tags, empowering users to customize their rendering as needed.
Relume Components Library
A Relume public library, designed specifically for Liquify components. This library will offer a collection of the most commonly used components, streamlining the design process. Users will have the ability to access and copy these components, significantly accelerating their workflow. Moreover, we encourage community participation by allowing users to submit their component ideas, which our team will bring to life. This collaborative effort aims to foster innovation and efficiency within the Liquify ecosystem.
Tree Shaking Webflow CSS
In our pursuit of better page performance, we will introduce a treeshaking functionality to significantly reduce the CSS file generated from Webflow. This innovation involves creating new CSS files specific to each page, containing only the necessary classes required for that particular page. By doing so, we aim to streamline and optimize the CSS, thereby enhancing overall performance and loading times for every page.
Webflow Variables editable in Shopify Theme-Settings
Our upcoming plan involves making Webflow variables accessible within the Shopify theme settings. This integration will enable easy access for your theme editor to globally modify company colors or font sizes directly within Shopify. This streamlined process aims to empower users to make quick, global design changes across their Shopify store, enhancing flexibility and efficiency in theme customization.
Expand li-settings
Our li-settings tag now enables access to Shopify Settings functionality within Webflow. This allows the creation of dynamic variables like text inputs, image selectors, or collection selectors, providing Shopify's Content Editor with easy content change capabilities for the store. Currently, we're expanding the range of settings tags in Liquify, offering more options for customization. For a detailed overview of the current capabilities, please refer to our documentation or the Shopify documentation for a deeper understanding.
Section rendering API via Attributes
We're working on enabling access to the Shopify section rendering API through custom attributes. This API integration will significantly enhance your store's usability. By utilizing this feature, users can greatly improve and customize the functionality and appearance of their store, providing an enhanced experience for customers.
